I am on same boat. Mine and my wife case also transfered from Texas to Orlando,FL.My PD is EB2 sep06 and we filed 485 July2nd'07.140 approved in March07.
We never worked in FL state.
My case is tranfered on 8th April'08 and a LUD today(9th April 08).
Praveen , Same situation i guess. There was a LUD yesterday on both (me and my wife case).. No Idea what they are trying to do.

Mine was transferred sometime in Nov or late october of 07. They didn't do anything until the date for I-485 became current on 1st august. However, it might be just a co-incidence as my I-485 is still pending. So I am probably not under PPP program going on in TSC.

my story is something like dhirajs98 but i dont know if he had the biometries done or not but we got the biometries, fingerprinting done but now my online status says that they mailed me a decision for i140 and i485, but does it mean a denial, please respond.

Ask your attorney to draft the experience letter. It may not be copied toto but support letter should cover the main points in the draft.

I am in same situation and had a meeting with my attorney to get more information, according to his experience with all his cases to date, he said there is 70 - 30 ratio, 70% have recieved rfe and 30% got approved without rfe. And after july fiasco he said it's better to wait for rfe and respond rather then ammending 485 application, now that's another question that my attorney will easily make it to top 10 list of all time worst attorneys. So I am looking for second opinion too.
So I would say wait till you get an RFE and respond ASAP.

This is not correct. The OP's status is not determined by what he files in the I-9 form. The determining factor is the I-94 form, the latest one that is valid. If the OP got an I-94 attached to his I-797 form (usually one does), then s/he is in H1-B from the day printed on the I-94 form regardless how long does the EAD remain valid.
AFAIK, if the OP wishes to remain on F-1 EAD, s/he can go out of the country before the H1-B I-94 starting date (Oct 1?) and reenter US on F-1 visa (i.e., the I-94 given at the port of entry would be for F-1). I do not know if there is any risk involved, or what would happen to the H1-B approval.

Guess what you should only travel by First class, If you travel by economy they will catch you..... :))
Jokes aside, You should be ok your H1B extension/stamping has nothing to do with which Airlines you travel, How many stops you will make etc.. Some countries have restrictions if you don't have valid visa during transit. Check with Airlines.

I sent my application to vermont based on the USCIS answering system on June 30th that folks with approved I-140s should send 485 applications to the center where it was approved. Any ideas, if there is a problem with that and if the app gets transferred how much time it will take.

I-485 RFE details.
Needed evidences:
1. 2 Passport size photos in USCIS specs.
2. Form I-693 completed by civil surgeon.
We did submit all these requested I-693 and photos during the initial filing. My question is, does USCIS request for new I-693 if the original one submitted is older than one year or more?
As far as i know medicals are valid for 2 1/2 years.
Answer to your next question is, there could be many possibilities.
1. USCIS might have lost your original 693
2. There could be something which is not clear in the original 693 etc

Yes, it is worth it if you're PD is current. I got my approval in less than 15 days and to think there even wan request for evidence. Everything was expedited. So am now filing my 485. But for those whose PD is not current, it does not make sense to pay extra for premium processing.

I am really excited to hear finally we got $60K to continue our approach to urge immigration reform. That is really great! And I already asked my employer to send letter to NYS Senator Charles Schumer and Hillary Clinton to support comprehensive immigration reform.
