What's better than driving along on the open road,
wind whipping through your hair, singing at
the top of your lungs to a song that makes you love
that moment of your life so very much?
When you catch someone else doing the same thing.
To the same song.
This happened to me today and I felt like I ought to buy
this random stranger a beer. I'm zipping along I-95,
dancing in my driver's seat, singing my heart out...
when I glanced over to my right and I saw
this woman singing along with me!! I just knew we had some
cosmic connection, especially because the song
wasn't some played out top 40 monstrosity.
It was "Take it Easy," the Travis Tritt version.
{I usually listen to CDs in my car, but today I felt like the radio.}
I was having a stressful day until this.
I don't know about you, but I choose to listen when
the universe speaks to me.
